Todd realized he was a storyteller at age eight when he recited the entire synopsis of The Lion King to his mom during the most prolonged bedtime ever. Not much has changed, except that now he writes the kind of stories he can’t wait to talk about.
A journalism major turned indie novelist turned thriller screenwriter, he writes cathartic stories that go down easy and linger. He believes true horror comes when we look in the mirror, and he makes it a fun ride.
Todd has independently published five novels. Inspired by a fateful visit to Hollywood, Todd evolved into a self-taught student of screenwriting. He has since sold one screenplay with his writing partner Dan Healey, and another script is under an option agreement with a producer. He is on development slates with the International Screenwriters Association (ISA) and The Stunt List, and he was named one the ISA’s Top 25 Screenwriters To Watch in 2024. Jumping into another storytelling medium, he adapted one of his novels (also the source material for a screenplay) into a limited series audio drama which he wrote, performed and produced.
